By creating an account, accessing, or using the Service, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms of Service.

EtcSec provides a multi-cloud identity security auditing platform that covers:
The Service includes an open-source collector agent (licensed under the Sustainable Use License), a cloud-based reporting and remediation platform, and automated MITRE ATT&CK mapping.
You must provide accurate and complete registration information. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials and for all activities under your account.
Accounts are for individual use. You may not share account credentials with other persons. You must notify us immediately of any unauthorized access to your account.
Important: You may only use the Service to audit identity infrastructure that you own or for which you have explicit written authorization. Unauthorized auditing of third-party systems is strictly prohibited and may violate applicable laws.

The Service offers multiple plans, including a free tier with limitations. Details are available on our pricing page.
Paid plans are billed monthly or annually in EUR. Prices are subject to change with 30 days' prior notice. For annual plans cancelled within the first 30 days, a pro-rata refund will be issued.
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect your data.
You retain full ownership of your Audit Data. EtcSec processes this data solely to provide the Service. Our self-hosted collector architecture ensures that raw identity data remains on your infrastructure.
The EtcSec platform, brand, documentation, and proprietary code are the intellectual property of EtcSec and are protected by applicable copyright and trademark laws.
The EtcSec Collector is open-source software licensed under the Sustainable Use License. Free to use, modify, and distribute for internal business or non-commercial purposes. Your Audit Data and content remain your property at all times.
We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the Platform in accordance with these terms and your selected plan.
We strive to maintain high availability of the Service with a target uptime of 99.5%. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for interruptions caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control (force majeure), including but not limited to natural disasters, network outages, or government actions.
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available.” Security audit results are informational and do not constitute a guarantee that all vulnerabilities have been identified or that your infrastructure is secure.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, EtcSec shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service.
Our total aggregate liability shall not exceed the amount you paid to EtcSec in the 12 months preceding the claim.
You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless EtcSec from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use of the Service, including any unauthorized auditing of third-party systems or violation of these terms.
You may terminate your account at any time by deleting it through the platform settings. EtcSec may suspend or terminate your access for violations of these terms.
Upon termination, your Audit Data will be retained for 30 days, after which it will be permanently deleted. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination (including limitation of liability, indemnification, and intellectual property) will remain in effect.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will provide at least 30 days' notice of material changes via email or through the Platform.
Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Historical versions of these terms are available upon request.
These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of France, without regard to conflict of law provisions.
Any disputes arising from these terms or the Service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the French courts. EU consumer protection rights are preserved.
